The Department of Geosciences at the National Taiwan University (NTU) is seeking active scientists to fill one to two faculty positions starting from August 1 st , 2021. The positions are open to candidates from all fields in geosciences, but those who have strong background in the fields of geo-resources exploration, hydrogeology, geophysics, geochemistry, sedimentology and structure geology will receive more favorable consideration.

NTU ranks in the top 100 universities worldwide (QS 2019), and Taipei was recently named the World’s Friendliest and Safest City for Expats (InterNations 2018). The Department of Geosciences offers a dynamic and supportive working environment with a wide range of state-of-the-art research facilities. Generous start-up funding is available for new faculty members. Outstanding candidates may also apply for special programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology with extra stipend and grants.
