The International Degree Program of Climate Change and Sustainable Development (IPCS) at National Taiwan University invites applications for a faculty member (rank commensurate with experience) beginning August 1, 2020. This is a search for an expert in the field of Earth, Life or Social sciences related to climate change and sustainable development. The successful candidate is expected to establish a vigorous research program that complements and augments existing strengths within IPCS, and to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching. An applicant must possess a PhD, preferably with postdoctoral experience and a strong track record of scientific productivity.

IPCS is an interdisciplinary degree program that encompasses a global perspective. It currently consists of 21 faculty members from 11 departments across 5 colleges in National Taiwan University, which is the top national research University in Taiwan.
